Overview
Dosa World is an Indian restaurant in Canada specialising in dosa, the South Indian crepe. Vorynto Technologies designed its logo to introduce South Indian food to a broad Canadian audience while staying authentic for Indian diners.
Restaurant logos work hard: they appear on the storefront, menus, takeaway bags and boxes, staff uniforms and — increasingly — as tiny thumbnails on food-delivery apps where customers decide in seconds.
The brief
The brief was a friendly, appetising logo that clearly signals Indian cuisine, is memorable for customers unfamiliar with dosa, and reads well at thumbnail size on delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, DoorDash or SkipTheDishes.
Design approach
We built the identity around the Dosa World name with warm, inviting character and a clear, readable wordmark. The layout works as a wide storefront sign and as a square badge for delivery-app listings and social media, and it reproduces cleanly on printed menus and packaging.
The logo helps the restaurant stand out in a crowded delivery-app feed while feeling welcoming in person.
Design focus
