Overview
Vajras is a college symposium in India. The name draws on “vajra”, a Sanskrit word associated with strength, often translated as diamond or thunderbolt. Vorynto Technologies designed the event's logo to capture that energy for a student audience.
A symposium logo has a short, intense life: it must build excitement on social media before the event, then appear on posters, registration pages, ID badges, certificates, stage backdrops and T-shirts.
The brief
The brief was a striking, youthful logo that builds buzz online, works across a full set of event materials and looks dignified enough for certificates and official college communication.
Design approach
We designed a bold wordmark for Vajras with dynamic energy and strong contrast, legible on posters and stage backdrops as well as small ID badges. The mark reproduces cleanly on printed certificates and merchandise.
The identity gives the symposium a consistent look from the first announcement post to the closing ceremony.
Design focus
- Youthful energy that builds pre-event buzz
- Legible on posters, backdrops and ID badges
- Dignified enough for certificates
